Terms of Service [T.O.S]

TL;DR: As long as you credit, I'm pretty easy-going.

Personal Use = OK✓

  • If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! Full definition and examples are under "Usage Agreement."

Commercial Use: +Fee

  • Streaming/Broadcasting Assets: +50% of total commission

  • Merchandise/Reproduction fee: +200% of total commission

Will Draw

  • OCs/fanart

  • All couples (within legal age)

  • Humanoids/Anthros

Can't do justice

  • Purely written reference *written with pinterest/visual boards are OK!

  • Extremely detailed armor/mecha

  • Real People (real objects are fine)

Payment:

  • All payments are in $USD through Paypal invoice

  • Full payment upfront, no negotiation

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Not started = 100% Full Refund

  • Sketch = 75% Refund

  • Beyond those two stages, it will be negotiated between the commissioner and the artist.

  • If I, the artist, am unable to complete the artwork at any circumstance, I will provide a full refund.

  • Unauthorized chargebacks at any stage will result in blacklist. Please contact if there are any concerns or if you would like to cancel the commission.

Time Frame:

  • Please let me know beforehand if you have a DEADLINE!

  • When I reach your slot, I take up to 1-7 days (about 1-2 days processing per each WIP).

  • I will inform if there are any delays

General Usage

  1. Do not reuse or repost without proper credit [@Symlanh] or permission.

  2. Do not use my art for any AI-training purposes or programs

  3. If you have the intent of cryptocurrency or non-fungible tokens [NFTs] in mind, I will not do business.

  4. Do not use others' commissioned pieces or the artist's OC (Original Character) or Sona (persona) works for any purpose. Those are personal IPs (Intellectual Properties) and belong to their respective owners.

  5. Please do not claim my artwork as your own, I work on all my pieces alone unless specified otherwise.

  6. Do not commission a piece with malicious or negative intent targeted towards any group of individuals.

  7. Serious inquiries only.

  8. No need to message considerations, such as "I don't have the funds, but I wish I could commission you." I appreciate the support through retweet/sharing/"Good Lucks"!

  9. I have the rights to turn down any commissions I cannot fulfill.

NDA Privacy policy:

  • If you wish for your request to be private, it must be stated during the ordering process.

  • The privacy request entails that the artist is not allowed to share any WIPs on social media, nor allowed to stream the process of the commission anywhere.

  • However, this also means that the customer must refrain from sharing any such spoilers themselves.

Usage agreement:
* No usage for any of my OCs or Sona art for any purposes.

Personal Use: No additional monetary exchange or gain from the art

  • General use: Icons, banners, headers, wallpapers, and non-profit, personal merchandise. All use with the intent of personal and not further advertisement.

  • You may use fanart for this usage, but please place visible credit [@Symlanh]

Commercial Use: Monetized usage and production

  • For Broadcasting/Streaming assets, a flat rate +50% fee of the total commission will apply.

  • This includes Twitch, Youtube, and other streaming businesses. For example, Starting/BRB/Ending/Loading Screens, Stream schedules, Character Music Videos.

  • For Commercial Merchandise, Reproduction and Redistribution Rights: A flat rate +200% fee of the total commission will apply

  • Examples includes paid wallpaper, paid merchandise featuring the artwork such as mousepads, mugs, keychains, and the like.

  • After the flat rate fee has been applied and paid for, client receives permission to earn profit from the merchandise created from the commissioned artwork.

Ownership:

Commissioner:

  • OCs/Character of commissioned work belongs to the rightful owners.

  • Will receive all commissioned work pieces through digital file delivery.

  • It is the responsibility of the commissioner to save the file; I may lose/clear my copy of the file in the future, please keep your copies safe!

  • Try not to post without credit or watermark to keep your commission safe.

  • May make edits (filter, cropping, personal video works)

  • Feel free to ask if you would like an edit to your commission work; if it's minor, I'm happy to fix it

  • May repost with credit visible to my art twitter [@Symlanh]

  • Cannot trace over my artwork and cannot use for any NFTs or AI purposes

Artist:

  • I can use the commission work [watermarked and resized] for future commission examples and portfolio pieces.

  • I will not further profit off the commissioned artwork.

  • Commission piece will be streamed [Twitch] and posted on my social medias [Twitter, DeviantArt] unless requested to not do so.
